Amazing! Love montane forests full of epiphytes! And just to be clear, these cypresses aren't native, they do are from northern central america but Costa Rica got no native conifers besides podocarps! these cypresses are mostly planted due their quick stablishment as windbreaks along with eucalypts all over the middle and high elevations around the central valley.

Can't wait for the paramo video!

There's something kinda funny about the coniferous trees at the mountainous regions of Costa Rica, they are kind of swarming with bromeliads. They look really interesting.
