Our friends found Minou, our tiny mama cat and her now big kittens, Baby (the Bengal) and Tom (the Ginger), in their garden during 2020. Minou had been badly injured when they found her, which is why she is blind in her left eye. Now, fast forward 2 years later, to 2023. Due to cancer, our friends had to move to the city to be closer to their doctor. Unable to bring the kitties to their new apartment, and with the buyers of their property being unwilling to keep the cats, that’s when we swooped in. Though reluctant because of thoughts on the loss of freedom this may cause, we sensed an overwhelming call to purpose and decided it was just the right time for us to adopt this special little family ❤️…

And even though all 3 cats escaped in less than 10 minutes from the temporary holding catio we built them to help with the transition to their new home, ultimately Baby and Tom stuck around, and finally, after 17 days, Minou decided we were worthy of her unimaginable cuteness and love.

And that’s the story of how we became the happiest furry baby parents in all the land 😽😽
