So I (Arttu) was in a discussion about shield thickness... People have so many weird beliefs that are hard to understand, but the argument was that shields could not be thin because the historical glues could not hold them together. So here I am with the leftover wood from a 6mm thick shield board glued together using hide glue. Like with most glues the seem is the strongest part of the board.

The glue rely held up well. Im going to use hare glue for my next project.
