When it comes to SPF face creams or foundations, you’d typically need to apply several times the normal amount of it to get even close to the level of protection stated on the packaging. Apply sunscreen before make-up (though bear in mind you’ll need to re-apply it if out in the sun for extended periods), and always check the manufacturer’s instructions too.
