11. Always carry an ID You Can Use to Prove Your Age.
When traveling in New Zealand, remember there are only three types of IDs you can use to prove your age: a passport, a New Zealand driver’s license, and the New Zealand 18+ card. Make sure you have one of these with you.

Choosing the right accommodation is important. New Zealand offers many options, like hotels, motels, hostels, and holiday parks. Pick what suits your budget and comfort.
13. Pay in New Zealand Dollars
Always pay in New Zealand dollars. Using the local currency makes things easier and can help you avoid extra fees from your bank. Remember, card payments in NZ are called EFTPOS. So cashiers might ask if it's cash or EFTPOS. Which means if it's cash or card.

Come to New Zealand for its stunning nature, not the cities. The natural landscapes are the real highlight.
