Hi fursuiter here! If you ever get the mascot costume again I recommend getting firsuit spray. It smells good and is a good disinfectant. It also works good for clothes and cosplay. The smell can be overstimulating sometimes but they sell scentless versions.

50/50 vinegar/water spray might help. The pickle smell goes away as the vinegar evaporates, and should take the teenage boy smell with it. Just make sure you test in an inconspicuous place first.

For any confused - she isn’t choosing the furry life. She’s just volunteering to be the mascot for a fundraiser event. The kid typically in it is unavailable and nose blind to his own aroma.
