If the strategy you use is proven to be profitable over time, and you've backtested properly and are aware of what happens when faced with choppy price action, then just let it run. Ignore it and go about your day. You should have the stop loss in a position that triggers in the area your trade idea is perceived to be voided. Ie break of a swing level, or support resistance, or whatever other indicator people use.
Take an early profit and all that happens is your overall edge and rr is reduced. This is emotional trading and isn't based on rules. Losses stay the same, winners become less once it gets a bit choppy and you get a bit nervous.
