CAC scan saved my life. I had no symptoms, but most of the risk factors. My CAC score came in at 1168!!!! Three weeks later I had an cardiac angiogram finding three significant blockages (85, 80,and 90%.) that required stents. Was fortunate not to have required immediate bypass. This was all discovered because I requested a CAC! Doctor said I had a 50% change of fatal heart attack within 12 months without treatment.

Back in 2017 I had a CAC scan. My total score was 23. 😳😟
So I did some research that said if I took a MK-7 supplement it would help.
So for the past seven years, I did this. Every day. Last week I re-took the test.
Now my score is – – – zero!
Just thought I would let you know that it was helpful to take this supplement.
I have always taken vitamin D as that helps as wel

Although eating a whole food nutrient dense diet, regular exercise and regular detoxing is essential in mitigating the over calcification in the organism, however, boron has been proven over and over again and being very highly effective in removing excess calcium from the organism such as from the arterial walls, the joints and all of the tissues in all of the organs…

I had this test done a few months ago and I was shocked that my score was zero. I’m a male fifty pounds overweight and in my mid fifties. I guess I am lucky or good genes. Now working hard doing cardio everyday getting the weight off. Get a good cardiologist everyone and get a good baseline. Stay on top of things.

Magnesium with its cofactor zinc regulates calcium levels in the blood.
Glycinate and Theronate are the best forms of magnesium.

Wouldn't supplementing with D3/K2 also help ?

Didn't the NIH do a study that found 8,000 IU of nattokinase per day reduced carotid artery plaque thickness?

What do You Recommend for older ladies with osteoporosis?
Should we be taking calcium for our bones?
Thank You

I agree with all mentioned recommendations, but no mention of Vitamin D3 & K2? A poor lifestyle and diet leads to calcium deposits in the arteries from your blood. Vitamin K2 moves that calcium from the blood into your bones and strengthens them. Vitamin D3 should be taken at a ratio to K2. For every 4000iu of D3 take at least 100ųg of K2… and cut out sugar, processed food and refined carbs!

I heard though a CAC scan can miss soft plaque that can also cause blockage?

@drjeremylondon Am I correct that calcium is supposed to be transported to your bones and vitamin D helps facilitate that transport. Without proper D there is little ability for the transport of calcium and calcium builds up in the arteries.
