You can buy a computer in person if you know what youre looking at. Sometimes things go on sale and become decent deals, but usually what you want to look for is the old floor models. They mark them down so much and usually you can pick them up for super cheap and have good backup parts or in some cases even sell it part by part and make a little bit of money.

As someone who worked at Amazon I would NEVER, I repeat NEVER buy any electronics or fragile objects, ESPECIALLY pcs, from Amazon.. the way the employees treat the boxes and packages is unbelievably careless.. even when you can very clearly see on the box there is a pc, tv, monitor, large mirror, or small fragile furniture such as lighting.. they still throw the boxes on to the shelf or the ground.. and I mean throw because they are punished if they donāt do a certain number of packages per hour. Soo long story short buy your pc and other breakable objects elsewhere. lol sorry for the long rant š

Microcenter has amazing prices. I live two states away from the closest one, and it can still be cheaper to take a train to it and buy a part then it is to get the part online.
