The problems that I have with others are usually problems I have with myself. This is the "Log" in my eye, as it relates to the Holy Word of God.

If what bothers me about another is a sinfulness about them, I especially need to pull the log out of my own eye. If my brother's sinfulness is bothering and annoying me, that means I haven't resolved it myself, and probably have the exact same problem with the sin myself. When I see a true problem with my brother, it should only stir in me the want to love and help them identify it in a loving way and also the love to do all I can to help them overcome it. This can be a very difficult thing to cultivate in myself, but Jesus and my Holy Mother Mary have been teaching me a lot about it. Prayers for all who are trying to look inward. It is a difficult life-long task.

"Protect us, Lord, as we stay awake; watch over us as we sleep, that awake, we may keep watch with Christ, and asleep, rest in His peace."

I do my best to keep watch, though I'm still human and a sinner. What Father C. says here makes me think of that.
