Wow, the cleaning guy really nailed that clearance! I'd say he deserves a 2% raise.

damn, this is why I paid a shop like yours to do mine on the last rebuild. I got the bare min. of tools & knowledge to get the job "done". but guys like you have all the tools, guages & know how to do it properly. That engine is still running 5+ years later, prob. wouldn't be if I had done it myself.

Man I wish you guys would have done my Duramax heads!!! My heads were done during Covid and the shop had gone to two shifts because they were so far behind. When all back together I’m using oil and now developed slight miss when warmed up but not cold. I just have a hard time trusting people with my stuff. But from what I see you let know stone unturned!!

When I used to frequent car message boards, I'd see guys talking about the machine shop taking awhile to get their engines done. Now I see why. WAY WAY WAY more work than I ever really envisioned. Cool to watch though.

Wonderful machines I never knew there were so many specialty machines. The sunnen hone must get quite a bit of use The methods are different than working with a Bridgeport milling machine a staple in most machine shops. I also don’t see a radial drill press. I haven’t seen any horizontal milling machines or even any cnc machining centers. Are almost all your machines special for automotive purposes?

Nice gear. I still do mine on a face plate on the lathe if I have to bore rods! This is way quicker!👍
