I needed a watch for my 8 year for after school when she is outside playing. We live in a super small town,dirt roads and all so she has a bit more freedom than she would if we lived in a city somewhere. There are times she goes out with nothing but a time limit and she will try to remember to ask her friends mom's to let her know the time but she forgets sometimes. She's 8. So I needed a watch that I could put an alarm on, that you had to go through a bunch of steps to set because if it were easy I think she might try to change the time so she could get more play time, I know I would have. The watch being bright blue makes it easy to see and find when she sets it down at night. She only wears it a couple of hours after school but she says its comfortable and doesn't catch on much. She said that she hits the face on a lot of stuff cause its big, but I think she's also not used to wearing a watch. Overall this is a great watch for us and helps fill a certain need.
