To avoid going into a K-Hole, you should be given an anti-nausea med and anxiety med. If you don't have something before hand, you may have a terrible experience. Ketamine was a life saver for me. It's helped my pain and depression. used correctly, this med is MAGIC

Out of all the meds that were used for my six surgeries Keramine one of the last and most recent I've had was the best in that I didn't have any side effects and it wore off "gracefully."

I’m a red head, and I don’t metabolize medication well. Lots of drug allergies and reactions. They gave me Ativan (allergic to Valium) When I woke up I was bruised all over and felt like I’d been hit by a train. The wife of the anesthesiologist said I fought like a banshee and it took 9 people to hold me down. I’ve never been more embarrassed. 😢. I have PTSD from a brutal attack. They ended up sedating with 1 mg Tylenol IV

In the operating room, I suddenly felt like I couldn't couldn't breathe. Nurse said i was going to sleep and pressed the mask down on my face as i kept repeating No, I can't breathe. I went to sleep on a panic. Woke up with my bp 70 over? I was in trendelenburg and super out of it, more than any other surgery.

I have. The first one was the ceiling above me looking like a beautiful coral reef. But it then turned grey and all of the people who had died in the icu cubicle I was in at the time appeared on the ceiling, looking down at me. Just their deceased faces looking at me.

I woke up during oral surgery when I was a teenager and I hallucinated that the singer from Korn was looking down at me while the medical team did their thing. I remember that I groaned, the doc recognized that I was awake, he kind of giggled and said sorry and then I blinked and passed out. Could have been a dream as well.

I have a few surgeries behind my back. During one of them, doc used fentanyl + ketamine for induction. Best feeling i ever had. I remember the OR started turning pink and i asked the team if we can just talk for a few minutes and before i got an answer i was back in my room😅

That's because ketamine opens the door the the subconscious so it's what you have behind that door that might just come out to haunt you... but if done properly ketamine is one of the new trauma healing wonders of the world... I'll still stay with magic mushrooms and ayuascha though

Just use adécuate versed to avoid memory of any good or bad dream and strong anti hemetic and is not only a great medication but can make some procedure safer by mantaining spontaneous respiration and hemodinamic stability

Huge ketamine advocate, here. Because the cost has gone up I no longer have access to it as a treatment, sadly, but if you have the money and struggle with anxiety or depression, I'd strongly encourage pursuing it.

Never had that used on me. I did have scary hallucinations with versed when I had my sinus surgery

Definitely trying Ketamine as other medications have not helped with my pain and Anxiety. I’ve stopped my medication for fibromyalgia long time ago as I am trying natural remedies, however ketamine sounds like it could be the thing for me

Ketamine is truly amazing. I did ketamine treatments for drug resistant depression that I suffered from for 17 years. 6 sessions, great therapy and $6,000 later (because insurance does not cover ketamine treatments) I was able to stop taking all 8 medications for my mental health. Ketamine saved my life.
