Doc john, in 2010 while i was playing soccer i twisted my knee. I was in so much pain, my teamates help me stood up. I was lame and my knee was so swollen. They took me to the hospital. The result of the test done on my knee was torn ligaments (medial meniscus). I underwent theraphy in the hospital for 12 sessions. But i did not recover, until now it still hurts. I can no longer play soccer or any outdoor sports i usually play. Even when i just walk when i make i mistake on my foot i am lame then i look at my knee it is already swollen. Sometimes my knee locks, i try to straighten my legs even though it is very painful.

Doc Please!
I have a swollen knee for 3 weeks now( it’s either sinovitus or bursitis) ( was caused by realty unfortunate movement, where I put all the weight to the knee when waking up)
The very first Examination of my knee showed a little amount of liquid above the knee, which prolly causes the swelling. by now, doctors have done physiotherapy 10 times during this period, the swelling is present. I also had the same knee sinovitis back in 2016 and 2020, (first time they deleted the liquid from the knee, the second time waited and it sort of go away by itself , it did after a month, but I suspect not fully cause during the last year sometimes my knee felt heavy and looked swollen for some moments , even tho I felt no discomfort running or doing the squads )
Now, it’s been 23 days since injury as I said, the swelling is present in my knee, but doc said it’s not serious enough to perform surgery and so we should wait, but the swelling doesn’t go away……What are your recommendations ? I’m using gel, can’t do any more physiotherapy cuz 10 is the max amount.
Should I do physical exercises to help swelling reduce or it’s only gonna make it worse - that’s my biggest interest. .I’m only 18 and don’t want to get any serious trouble with my knee🥺
Also, sorry for my English, I’m not a native speake

It's not good !!! this is big mistake ,beacouse you're producing heat during this.HEAT is the harmful factor in swelling problem. Heat is the biggest enemy of swollen. In German Lymphatic Clinics ( olny in whole world) when they doing lymphatic drainage , heat is avoided ! Your other movies are OK! I watched them . Did you hear about FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) ? In this case sowollen can by caused by Triggerband or Folding Distortion ( or both) . Of course if it is injury , not other problem.
