When I had the chance to go to an Army hall in Iraq 2005-06 it was awesome! They had a main line, taco bar, sandwich bar, pizza/spaghetti bar, dessert bar, and salad bar. Mountain Dew and real Red Bulls in the cooler. We loaded up so much that my cargo pockets were bursting!

Shit. That chow in Iraq in 2005 was on point whenever I got to go to the chow hall. About 80%-85% of the time it was MREs.

2007-08 camp striker had some of the best dang food. I miss the waffles the most. Crigador not so much. But still a good five to seven depending on the meal.

Kuwait Army Chow at both Camp Beuhring and Camp Arifjan was good.

I remember in March 2003 in Kuwait (Army) we had to freakin' march across the damn desert to the KBR tent to eat. I forget how far it was, but it was enough to where when you were half way, you can look either way and see nothing on either horizon 😂

If you have civilians cooking the food then it's not too bad, if you have army cooks making the food then it's going suck. Either way it's better than eating MREs everyday for breakfast,lunch and dinner.
