Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition is in development. Its content will be sold as a separate DLC for those with the existing game.
The Definitive Edition is said to have around 10-15 hours of additional content, with a new story quest, side quests, activities, and outfits.
Details on when the edition and/or DLC will be released and its price are still in flux. Still, some sources have suggested that it could be released in 2025

I believe that if they continue the story timeline wise Albus Dumbledore will be a 1st year when the player character from HL is a 6th year so that could happen

It really needs some kind of system around the house points as well as a morality system based around how much you use the dark arts and forbidden curses. The dialogue looks like it was designed to have a Paragon/Renegade system like Mass Effect but in the end being a real Draco Malfoy changes nothing about the game experience. But they have great bones i hope they add some cool stuff.

I just hope the new story elements are set in the summer. So we don’t have to start a new save, which I’ve already done 6 times 😅

The map doesn’t need expanding, more stuff needs putting in the layout we already have. New enemies, better caves for exploration and an update to Merlin Trials at the bare minimum.

Will it run without crashing on PC is the question. Idk what the game is like now but that summer update made it where you couldn’t play the game for more than 5-15 minutes at a time without crashing to desktop.

This game is the perfect example of being wide as an ocean but as deep as a puddle. No chance they’re getting more money from me for more half baked ideas and mechanics.
It is a truly beautiful game but a dog turd painted gold is still a dog turd, if it was not Harry Potter themed then this would objectively just be a bad game.
