My son was 37+6 and my second baby was 40+3, both went into labor naturally. It's so crazy how different each pregnancy can be.

My midwife wanted me to get the membrane sweep on my due date. I had it done and @ 4Am that would be 16 hours after the sweep my water started trickling. I went into the hospital a little after 5AM and baby boy was born @ 4:12PM it definitely felt like a long labor. Good luck with your labor and delivery π€

Just walk, baby will come, when he's ready πβ€! Congratulations π to you! Meanwhile, my daughter is 32 weeks, when she was 28 weeks, she started contracting, she dilated to 4cm very quickly, they took her to Labor and Delivery, NICU Doctors came in to explain what would happen, stayed in the hospital 8 days, sstill at 4cm, they discharged her, now everyone is on pins and needles, baby boy was only 4 pounds at 28 weeks, he is gaining weight, the doctors are trying to hold him in ,until 35 weeks, she's having some contractions, but no dilation ππ½

I had 3 membrane sweeps that did nothing!!! I was 2 weeks overdue on the last one as well. π₯² What sent me into labor was good ole exercise! Lots of jumping jacks, high knees, lateral step ups then a 2 mile walk! Had labor start in 4 hours afterward!

They never tell you in advance that you actually have to be at least 1 cm dilated to even get a membrane sweep. I was able to get one at 37.5 weeks (had gestational diabetes and would have been induced at 39 weeks) and went into labour that night. I am 100% getting another sweep for baby #2.

Its crazy to me that youre still pregnant at 40 weeks and i have a month old baby when i should have been 40 weeks. She was so tiny. Shes 4 now. Youre almost there. You got this!
