I'm really picky when it comes to horror media. I can't stand excessive gore or jumpscares, but there are certain parts that I love! I love that you mentioned horror as a queer allegory because one of my best friends and I are both really into werewolf media and we literally obsess over werewolf stories as trans and queer allegory on, like, a daily basis!

Thatās number one; a genuis trick of the brain, and two; a fascinating take on the genre as a whole. I donāt partake in horror movies that much but Iām slowly dipping my toes into horror media (Iām fine with horror as long as it doesnāt move basically) and Iām starting to appreciate the artistry even solely on a character design level

i usually never watch horror movies because i literally cannot handle them, i will jump at the slightest spike in volume, but the way youre describing it makes me really want to! i think if i were to watch a movie from a more analytical perspective it might help me watch it all the way through, and i definitely enjoy overthinking and overanalysing when it comes to media. youre lowkey tempting me š

I love horror movies (jump scares annoy me though and i donāt consider those good movies tbh) and I definitely think this is the reason why. I feel like if i can watch one of them, my fear of something irl is less scarier. I also enjoy watching mst3k and how they āmake funā of ābadā movies that you can see what they were TRYING to do. The horror ones are usually the ones that you can see more love went into.

I was taught the sign for name was connecting your hands the same way you did there, but instead of tapping them together you make a circle in front of yourself w them if that makes sense. Do you think that's an outdated sign or was I just taught wrong? I'm also Canadian so it could definitely be a dialect thing
Edit: I just realized I commented on the wrong video . . . I thought it was one of the customer service ones. I need sleep š
