If there is a mosquito within 5 miles, it will find & bite me. I was only 3 feet off the plane in Alaska & one bit me on the thigh. It followed me. LOL Boy, do they ever grow those mosquitoes big in Alaska. My welps were the size of a 50-cent piece. Ouch.

they have like 300 types of light up mosquito repellents.on the market.๐ I got me 20 disc's for $5 last me all summer.. place one in the patio when I bbq and place some aroind the garden when I'm spending time in there.. the mosquitos are so bad here at some point we covered our whole bodies except our eyes and nose and my eyelids were swarmed and bit still!! those light up things work great they smell like a light incense smell. but that coffee trick I didn't know.. thanks for sharing.. my coffee is Hella expensive so I won't be using it but ill keep in mind the next time I see a can of folgers at the camp site.

I used to have this same problem. I now have to take massive amounts of B-12 daily due to Pernicious Anemia and haven't been bitten since. Btw, Windex window cleaner works wonders to neutralize mosquito and chigger bites. The ammonia kills the itch. Much love from Oklahoma!

I swear by the citronella plant! I break a branch, slice the stem with my finger. The juice inside I put on pressure points, hats etc. I totally works. It does not have an overbearing smell . It's pretty to look at 3 gallon cloth planter, gets HUGE!
