I've never been much of a fisherman but about 11 years ago, a bunch of us guys went bottom fishing off the Oregon coast (Depot Bay) and the captain said he'd never seen anything like it in 32 years. We left about 8 am, had everyone maxed out and everything packed heading home by 9:30. Maybe I would fish more if I could catch stuff like that when I went out
