You’re so kind with your child, he’s going to have such a great relationship with food and you as a result, I had to eat everything in my lunch box and if I didn’t I had to eat it when I got home otherwise I wasn’t allowed dinner, AND I always had to finish my plates at every meal, I know it was because I grew up with a lower income family but it really skewed the way I perceive food and portion sizes now as an adult

I LOVE how your son knows when he is full and when to stop eating! EVEN with treats; leaving the cookies, chocolate bar and Cheetos puffs. I wish my child did that. My child will ALWAYS eat until the plate is clean even if she is uncomfortably full. She is always asking for sweets too and devours them in seconds whenever she has access to them.
