I've noticed this too, as a bungou stray dogs fan. There are a LOT of us, but we're all very weirdly quiet and we stay very well contained in our corner. I think it's because we assume BSD is more niche than it is, so we keep our interest in it to ourselves because we don't see others talking about it, which just continues the cycle of silence lol

The thing with BSD is it's mainly character driven rather than plot driven. We don't talk much about the plot because we're talking about the characters, how complex they are, their life stories, etc.

Mostly it's got to do with many plot twists in the recent chapters that makes fans really anxious. Like you think heros won then, suprise the situation gets worse. But wait! The heroes had been planning for that outcome! Hold your horses!! The villain had a hidden card in their sleeve all along! The conflict goes from worse to unimaginable
You have to keep up with the genius characters of BSD who are playing 5d chess without a chessboard and are constantly flipping the imaginary board upside down, with multiple twists, 20 step plan under a 30 step plan and ect.
So it's really a rollercoaster of destruction happening there

Tbh we do care about the plot but the characters are do conplex so relatable and so well written that we care about them over the plot.

Yes. You'd love it. It's absolutely amazing. And, disregarding the fandom, it's actually amazingly written. The characters have so much depth and mystery to them. The plot is confusing af but everything still mostly makes sense

I really enjoy Bungo Stray Dogs. The concept is one of the absolute coolest things! The characters are named after authors, and they have abilities based somewhat off of the author or one of the works of the author. The concept is one of my favorite things.

As someone who went with zero knowledge into this i honestly want to thank the fans for it, it's sooo much better knowing absolutely nothing about it, compared to knowing everything like jjk. It's only sad because none of my friends watched bsd so i have no one to talk about it with 😢

Aside from the fandom, it's a really good anime and I think you'd like it but the plot can be confusing to some. Also, the characters are really well written and there are many character analyses by the fans that can help you understand the characters more. And lastly, HOT. MEN.
