Imagine trying for a younger sibling for your child and then getting 5 younger siblings at once.

😮 I’m sitting here with my newborn twins and 2 year old toddler wondering how in the world can someone manage THAT many babies?!?! Including a toddler as well! I would have a mental breakdown.

Crazy enough, they only had four embryos implanted, and not only did all of them survive, but one of them split, making identical twins.

As someone going through infertility and infertility treatments, it absolutely blows my mind how many doctors throw medication at people that makes your egg production go up and then don't monitor you. Our RE requires monitoring thankfully.

As a Canadian, I’m shocked it took til now, we had the Dionne quintuplets back in the 1930’s. Terrible history, government basically sold them to do scientific ‘shows’

The Dionne quintuplets born in Ontario in 1938 were conceived naturally and were identical. They had four other siblings. All quintuplets survived to adulthood but they were treated like a carnival side show. Their trust fund was mismanaged. It really was a horrible story. Every time I see one of these stories of someone having a lot of kids and then making a TV show about it always makes me think of the Dionne Sisters.

In Canada, there are the Dionne's sisters. Indentical quintuplet born in 1934 in Corbeil Ontario. They were born at home with the help of two midwife and a contry doctor. They all survived to adulthood. They were badly exploited in there childhood...

I have this problem with my husband. I have pcos and irregular periods. He has a low sperm count. It takes us on average 5 years to fall pregnant. I have been off birth control since 2015, almost a decade, and have fallen pregnant twice. One was a successful pregnancy and the other a miscarriage. I plan to stay off birth control for another 4years until i turn 40, but i have no idea if we will have another child in that time. I'm very grateful for the one we have.

Canada had the first "naturally" fertilized and born without any medical intervention, set of "identical" quintuplet girls. They were Cécile Annette, Yvonne, Émilie and Marie. The parents already had 5 children.
Look up Dionne Quintuplets❤🇨

Should have been named after the anime "The Quintessential Quintuplets." Could've had a live action anime and reality TV in one show

The Busbys actually go to my school and when they’re getting dropped off they come out of a VAN😊

Them doing a TLC show feels like a red flag imo. It's giving Duggars. These kids will already feel unusual. Just let them be kids, not zoo animals.

I know their record is an American one, but I'm still more impressed with the Dionne quintuplets. There were no fertility treatments at the time, and the parents already had 6 kids before they were born.

Here in Canada, we had the Dionne quintuplets, all girls, born in 1934, and they were exploited to bits, even back then. They were raised in what’s been called a “baby zoo”, where folks paid an admission fee to see the quints on their farm.

I have 8 children (5 boys, 3 girls) and yes, life is hectic BUT I couldn't imagine how stressful it would be for them to be all the same age! 5 babies! Hats off to them, they got through it and did a fantastic job 👏

Her: calls the video the odds against the all girl family
Also her: doesnt actually say the odds as in one in however many thousend
My ocd: thx for that, now i gotta look it up bc it wont leave me alone otherwise

Looked it up, its 1 in 3,906,250,000 pregnancies to get monozygotic quintuplets. Youre welcome fellow ocd people.

Poor Blayke. I can’t imagine having to deal with the idea of going from being an only child to an older sibling. Becoming an older sibling to 5 sisters at the same time has to be kinda traumatic. I hope she doesn’t feel left out. Hard for parents to look after 5 newborns while giving the older daughter 100% as well. 😓
