Your theory won't hold water because down in Australia the setting sun sets in the east because there upside down and opposite of us so the people on the bottom floor would see the sunset long before the people on the top floor!

I have a few. #1 Anyone in the southern hemisphere can go outside at night face south and watch the stars rotate around the south pole clockwise. #2 Faucalts Pendullum. #3 sun dials. With sun dials you set them up so the stick is aligned with the north south axis set at an angle that matches your lattittude. This is so the stick is perpedicular to the ground at the equator. Sun dials only work correctly if you do this. Think about it. If you are at 45° north the ground below your feet is at a 45° angle from the equator. So you set the sun dial to 45°. These things can only happen on a sphere!!!

Explaining this to a flat-earther and convincing them that the Earth is a sphere will be about as successful as convincing a squirrel that it is a dinosaur! Flat-earthers will perish miserably in the flood!
