How do you treat a mold allergy? I'm Dr. Manan Shah, I am an ENT and allergist at Wyndly Health. Mold is a known trigger for both allergies and asthma, and it's associated with a sinusitis called allergic fungal sinusitis.

Ultimately, the best way to treat a mold allergy is through a thing called immunotherapy. In immunotherapy, what happens is we expose your body, either orally or through shots, to what you're allergic to until, over time, your body becomes desensitized.
