For primaries the in the deep mission is the best if you have access to it bc you can also AFK

if you're trying to unlock exotic heavy catalysts try exodes garden 2A lost sector, the lost sector chest at the end always gives heavy ammo

Ghosts of the deep has a great kill farm. At the ecthar encounter kill the ogre and stay where it spawned. The acolytes and knights never stop spawning, and you can chain tethers easily without any optimization

You can switch to star eater scales after you have half your super back from opeheus for bigger regen on orbs
Also to get the most adds you need to kill all the small red bars and then one knight, after that another wave of small adds will spawn and then yiu can kill those and then another single knight, rinse and repeat

Fun fact this build on tether actually doubles as a good tether build for raid scenarios with a high ad density prior to dps. So you could use tether on ad clear and on the boss.

The brake neck mission in the light fall campaign get to where you can rally gram there just don’t kill the chicken boss it spawns lots of ads best part is it’s a free rally every time and it’s really to get to the part bc it’s right at the beginning pretty much

I’m sure shuro chi is still more optimal per time invested, but imo the opening of grasp just feels way better for primary ammo weapons. You don’t need any special exotics since you can get tether back with the burdened by riches debuff, you only wipe once you hit x100 burden (which if you plan it right can be like 5-10 minutes per cycle) and even then you just respawn ready to keep killing. It may not actually be better, but it feels better imo cuz there’s not as much downtime
