Almudron is such a cool concept. Personally find the hunt with it fair and fun

I love Almudron, he's a solid freshwater leviathan to compliment Mizutsune and is fun to fight against.
And they're also coincidentally more mammalian than the Ludroth and Lagiacrus.
Makes me think these "leviathans" came from fanged wyverns like Zinogre who themselves developed from more reptilian monsters or maybe flightless flying wyverns like Nargacuga.
All Almudron or Mizu would do is simply specialize for semiaquatic life in freshwater areas.
Which is why Im not a big fan of seeing Almudron in the desert or being lava based, it just kinda looks wrong aesthetically, and I always felt it was kind of like reusing assets for subspecies.

Those three are all in my top 10 monsters out of the 200 plus in the series. I want some more MHO exclusive monsters to be repurposed and put into the actual games. Like Espinas and Lavasioth was.
