Broke my arm in 4th grade trying to skate my buddies half pipe. My mom was a nurse....told me I probably sprained my wrist and didn't wanna wait 5 hours at the er for that and to suck it up. 2 days later at church my Sunday school teacher expressed concern of how bruised and swollen it was so my mom finally took me to the er and it was broke in 3 spots...she had made been making me wear her carpal tunnel splint "to help with the sprain"
