A rescue, obviously.
Her given name is Sally.
I'm giving it back!😆
She doesn't respond to it anyway.
Looking for suggestions for names.
NO PEOPLE NAMES!
Should connect with something associated with ME & what I like.
I thought about calling her Sister (one of the bands Blackie Lawless was in with Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue) before W.A.S.P..
🎶 Music is typically my go to but, not always.
The name Summer is out because that's the name of my neighbors dog.
Anyway, the next 3 clips are from the first day we got her home
She's 3 years old SF & what they call a "pocket pitty" a blue merle (color).
I'm thinking maybe Catahoula, or heeler, mixed with put bull.
She's VERY sweet!
She's under 50 lbs.
Rocky AKA Rock-N-Roll 🌈💔🕊️ was probably pushing 100lbs.
I would have posted these earlier but, I must admit going to a shelter again kicked in my PTSD.
The first dog they showed us brought me to tears.
Pressure sores, urine stains, & looked like an anatomy specimen, although she's gained almost 20lbs. since the rescue got her.
I was right back to my days when I was forced to help out at kill shelters.😞
She was VERY shy, but good with cats.
We were going to take her(Rania was her name) but, another lady fell in love 💞 with her before we looked at her & I didn't want to take her away from her even though we were approved & has "dibs".
Anyway hubby & I decided to adopt Sally instead.
Going to take time to integrate with Cassanova, Gimli, Trixie, & Cheyenne.
