Fun fact, DJ Hero 2 was actually the final “Hero” game released before Activision shut down the entire Guitar Hero franchise in 2011. It was developed by UK-based game studio FreeStyleGames, who Activision would later pick to develop the short-lived revival Guitar Hero Live.
FreeStyleGames later got bought by Ubisoft and was renamed to Ubisoft Leamington, but sadly it was announced earlier last week that Ubisoft Leamington would be closed permanently, along with layoffs in a bunch of other places.
FreeStyleGames deserved better!!
