La meringata classica è un dolce tipico della pasticceria italiana e in particolar modo di quella estiva, quando le temperature (come in questi giorni) ci portano a prediligere freschi dessert al cucchiaio e semifreddi.
Alla base del dolce troviamo la meringa.
L'altra protagonista indiscussa della meringata classica è la panna montata che nella nostra versione si amalgama alla crema pasticciera per ottenere una soffice nuvola di crema diplomatica.
