Biting into a raw squash deadpan has to be one of the most alpha things I've ever seen lol.

my mother from the Philippines cooks it in stews and its incredible. Taste similar to a squash but slightly more firm and sweeter.

We ate this growing up as it was commonly added to a lot of our Mexican soups

In Australia we call these choke. Also I know that this is often used to make apple pies because they have the same look and texture as apple slices and they take on the flavour of apple juice and cinnamon.

It Hass to be cooked. On its own it has no flavor, it absorbs the flavor of whatever you cook it with.🤨

Growing up in El Salvador and the Republic of Panama, I always saw my grandma and Mom use it but it was always used in soups or diced up and put into the rice. You're nuts for doing that.....LMAO......Love it. btw, love your channel and all the content you share. I'm constantly sharing your channel with anyone that asks me how I stay fit and lean. Thank you.
