How does pulsed light photodepilation work?

Melanin is the pigment that gives color to the hair cells. During the treatment of photodepilation, the melanin of the hair, attracts the zip of pulsed light and guides it to the root. Once there, the pulsed light destroys the hair growth follicle.

How many photoepilation sessions are needed?
This is a very difficult question to answer. There is a difference for face and body treatments.
In the photodepilation treatments for the body, a good result is obtained between the 6th and 8th sessions, with the elimination of approximately 95% of the hair from the treated area. For face treatments, you usually need a few more sessions.
But we must not forget that the body of each person is different and will respond in a different way to the photodepilation treatments. Some people react quickly and eliminate hair in a few sessions. Even the same person may present different results depending on the areas of the body. You may be doing photodepilation in the armpits and in the groin, and complete the armpit treatment in 6 sessions while in the groin you will need 8 sessions.

How long does a photoepilation session take?

The sessions of treatment of photodepilation take between 15 minutes and 2 hours according to the area to be depilated.

How is a photoepilation session taking place?

The technique cuts the hairs of the area to be treated with gillette (the client can perform this operation on her own before the arrival of our technique if she so wishes).
The technique will then place a protective gel on the area, and perform the pulsed light shots.
Finally, you will put a treatment oil in the treated area.
The technique will comply with all hygienic conditions necessary for this type of treatment. It will be protected by gloves and special glasses (as well as the customer). All consumables are disposable and used only once.

How long should we wait between two photoepilation sessions?

A minimum of 20 days is recommended as this is the appropriate time period for all hairs that have not yet been eliminated to grow again.
