i tried this on my 5700x + Asus Prime B450M-A II (Yes i know its a cheaper entry level motherboard but hey i was on a budget).
So here is how it went,
i started with 0.05 (-) and slowly increased the number everytime i restarted my PC.
I ended up at 0.20 (-) because once i changed it to 0.20 the number turned yellow in BIOS so i took that as a friendly warning to stop.
Since i use my PC mostly for gaming everything looks OK. I tried it on CPU Intense games (Battlefield 2042, Insurgency Sandstorm) and performance is still the same.
What i noticed with msi afterburner during gameplay before voltage tuning my 8 cores (16 Threads) would stay at 4650 MHz most of the time but after voltage tuning the clock worked around 3700 MHz and some threads jumped to 4650MHz during heavy work load and then go back to 3700 MHz. I dont mind with this since i still get full CPU speed during heavy workload.
Before : Peak Temperature 87 Celsius.
After : Peak Temperature 76 Celsius.
Its AMD so im ok with this temperature as long as it's under 80 Celsius. Its 11 Degrees improvement for me.
Thanks. It Works.
