Engine air filter too. So cheap to replace and takes less than 1 minute. I’ve seen so many air filters filled with mud that don’t get replaced

How often should the transmission fluid be replaced and how about the transmission filter?

What do I do if my car doesn’t have a drain plug for the transmission? It’s a 2019 Kia sportage with 110,000 miles and I heard that if you’ve never changed the transmission oil before then it could cause it to slip once you do change it.

Timing chains are more of a repair than maintenance , you cant check the chains without removing alot of parts. Also dont just change out your fluid you will need to do a complete flush to get all the old out the system with the proper flush machine .

also you rear differential if you own a truck that has 4 wheel drive all of those should be done.If you put boats in water i allways do my rear dif every year its cheap fluid and easy to do

As far as servicing timing chains it’s always good to change them if your mechanic already has to remove them for any work needed to be done
