It still doesn't actually stall, it starts to climb bit the trees are climbing quicker. So no published stall speed. Confirmed!

That is actually the best scenario for this situation, the tree basically acted like a giant airbag for the plane. Had the plane stalled and gone nose down none of them would be alive today. I am amazed a plane that size lifted off at 70-80 knots.

It actually makes sense to stall into the trees in this circumstance, as any glider-pilot will tell you. The trees will absorb a great deal of the impact energy. This was very likely survivable given the pilot's actions. What he did was to "fly through the crash" rather than possibly stalling and hitting the ground, which might very well have been fatal. It's by no means ideal, but it's less incompetent than it looks.
