I was friends with a woman born in 1920. She shared how when first married (though she didn't do nearly as much as you just described), she took care of their home, everything to do with their finances and whatever arose besides. The first time her new husband brought home a paycheck, Ann asked, "Where's mine?" Every man should be a househusband for at least 5 years, while the wife goes out into the wild to earn the paycheck. Men would be asking the same question.

Same, and I came into the marriage with a home. He came into the marriage with debt. I filed for divorce after 4 years. My joke of an attorney 100% failed to represent me. It took my whole retirement plus half of the equity of my home to get rid of a sociopath.
I was still raising 2 of my six children. The rest were grown and in college on scholarships.
The fa*-a**ed judges gave him everything that my late husband and I had worked for for 20 years.

I have been here with my husband and I do a lot of free labor. He gets the credit and I work for free. I am not a mormon, but if you have businesses together. We have a ranch and he is an electrician. I fall somewhere in to managing them, paperwork, cleaning, shopping etc. His work gets acknowledged by the community and they ask what I do. It isn't other peoples fault, we are just trained to be sidekicks as the women. I wear many hats. I feel hurt sometimes but I also know he does call my his business partner 50 50 and it doesn't matter what the others say about our businesses. They can think what they want with no explanations.
