HF acid or H3PO4!!! They are both very different acids. HF is for roughing up ceramics before bonding and H3PO4 is for roughing up the teeth for bonding.
If she is able to buy HF like that, that is honestly terrifying. You guys use it with lots of suction and water around to minimise it touching teeth and the gums, because it is an acid which can be fatal if it touches skin/mucus membranes.
I'm a chemist, not a dentist (and not a pharmacist - chemists work with chemicals, but there still seems to be confusion because pharmacists were also called a chemist)... and if I was ever told I needed to work with HF I would be wanting a full risk assessment and protective gear!
