Too cool. I rescued one last year. I put him on a bush in my yard. I'd bring him small crickets. I named him Augie because it was Aug 1 when I almost ran over him with the lawn mower. One day I noticed odd looking leafs by the bush. Damn bird ate Augie. Left his wings and little arms he used to pray with.

I love praying mantis. Where I live they get to be about 6 to 8 inches. One time I saw one in August grab a hummingbird as it was trying to eat right in my front yard.

I love praying mantis! Used to see them all the time when I was a kid. Haven’t seen one in years though. Probably because I’m too old to crawl around in the bushes. 😂

Mantises are so beneficial to have around house/shop. They are natures pest hunters and they are extremely proficient at it
