This used to be a feature sometime around 2014, where you could link your Twitch and have it pop up a banner on your videos when you were live. They got rid of it because YouTube started their own streaming service. Why they haven't brought it back I don't know

This is the exact reason welyn streams consistently, and let's people know at the end of every video what his schedule is, because if you finish a good video and then realize you can watch him live chances are you will go check it out. I would imagine, it brings a decent amount of traffic into his streams.

I think they even had this feature years ago before YouTube live streaming was a thing where you could link if you were live on twitch. Would be awesome to see for their own platform lol!

THEY USED TO DO THIS! It was integrated with twitch at first, then for YouTube streams when YTG was a standalone site, then they just removed it one day.

They sometimes put it in recommended videos, but this would make it impossible to miss & would be great for YT shorts
