This is not dark night of the soul. All you talking about is how sad, no idea of how to get out or move forward. That is typical break up experience. That is why Moana people think they are twin flame but they are not. Dark night of the soul in twin flame journey is way beyond that kind of pain. It is the most painful process that you finally first time realized that twin is actually a mirror of who you were. You finally see yourself in an angle you never can see before, that pain and shame and knowing yourself actually was just like that twin, those shadow part revealed by that mirror ( twin) will put you going through a internal death, you first time forced to facing your own soul, and you first time knowing how far you were disconnected with your soul. This process can take years to finish, once I get out of the other side, it was 3.5 years later and I died inside and reborn again, for long time I felt so strange of this dimensional world, because my soul has to take time to adjust this reborn. After this process, you rise from the ashes, you become an extremely purified soul, you become a powerful person you never can be, you become love because the whole twin flame is really not about reunion, it is about make you back to yourself, back to the home that is your soul in you. Be whole within, be love yourself, no more codependency, no more narcissism, no more self serving and trying to control others. Your empathy has firm boundaries and strength, you ‘d rather be alone than with anyone, even including your twin that you know he still need much more time and much harder level to heal. You simply can not tolerate any energy that is not pure, which is why some twin will not reunion this life time, because the love is not about physically with someone who is not love themselves. Your bond with that twin remains eternity, but it take a real authentic twin to put the line to not let anyone cross this lifetime.
