I only recently saw the film Defamation, which is a decade or so old now. One of the things that is covered is how in the US the ADL focus on making sure even minor incidents get logged with the police as anti Semitic hate crimes. The purpose, of course, being to keep the numbers inflated. I recommend it to anyone interested in how hasbara works. I found it on YouTube as it wasn't of any of the streaming platforms.
