Well, Ally bank gave me .05% increase on the IRA CD that just matured. So I rolled it & got 1/2 % higher. So you need to keep tabs on your $$

If you want a CD, get a brokered CD from somewhere like Fidelity or Schwab. You can shop for the best interest rate and no auto-renew.

Except you have to go to the bank in person to cash it then put it into a new one. They purposely make it hard. I don’t have time for that. I’m guilty of this all the time!
