You can get tin openers designed to open tins the way Barry did it, but for the one he used, he did it wrong.

Someone should introduce Barry to safety can openers, which are brilliant and have been around for ages (but you'll never hear about them because Big Can Opener needs that patent money :P).
They work by cutting through the folded seam, so you create an effective lid for the can and there are virtually no sharp edges.

I can totally relate! I’ve been always struggling with the cans opening, and frankly, I open tins like Barry. The other way totally makes sense now… please consider tin opening tutorial 😆

Barry made me glad I’m not alone struggling to open tins! I have awful dexterity and fingers that dislocate stupidly easily and I struggle so much. Ring pull cans were the best thing ever invented
