I taught myself to crochet and I’m left handed, only been crocheting a few years, I didn’t know there was any difference but I now realise this is how I crochet. ☺️❤

When i was learning my hand automatically went to this method! I never understood the explanaitions of the xs being too tight vs the Vs because i never got Vs and never dealt with the tightening others had with xs. Amazing to know this will help when the next person asks me to help teach 😁

Does it give a tighter stitch i wonder? I will give it a try to see. I am 67 and have returned to crochet after proably 30+ years

Wowza, this is very interesting to me because I had never heard of a yarn under in crochet. I've only ever done yarn overs. Thank you for the video, I can't wait to try this stitch.

Thank you for this hint. The best of both worlds. 😊

New to crocheting and I am still trying to get my old brain to grasp the basics but this is interesting so I’m going to try it and see if I can do it AND remember to do it consistently! 😉

I do both. But I feel yarn over is faster.

I wish you’d have done the 2 examples at the beginning much SLOWER. Was there actually a visible difference? I didn’t think there would be. Now I’ll have to make my own swatches to see… 😕
