Clarification; if you're building an Open Source project, and someone offers you an Exclusivity offer, definitely think it over, it may be right for you, but it also may not be. That is up to you, and you should be comfortable with whatever decision you believe is best for you and your project. :) This one company was asking for exclusive rights to a project that is very proud to be open source, and has that as a key point of the project.
