Kai backstab with Katana = KAIBOOM!

Isn't it mainly useful for backstab? Even a d12 is only getting 5.5 damage on average for a very short duration.
Its very well suited to backstab as you only need a very short duration and with a x5 multiplier, even a d8 weapon is gaining 17.5 damage on average.
Also, when dual wielding with an extra attack weapon, those two extra attacks will offset the lower extra damage per hit.
