I got to play a friend's original Ram's Head a few years back. The smoothest, darkest fuzz I've ever played. I must say though, the Green Russian is still my favorite.

That is a rams head. That variation started in 1973. Sovtek had nothing to do with ehx till the early 90s.
Like 2 sentences in and the lack of research (which begins and ends with reading a couple pages on the history of the big muff) is baffling as is a lot of the pedal research from this shop.

I have the original Big Muff. Not a 1969 version. But the original big design with big knobs. I think it was the first pedal I bought. It’s so much fun to play with
