I leverage the OpenCV wrapper, OpenCvSharp, for face detection and use a Python script for the face recognition part. The process is executed within Visual Studio 2022 using .NET 6 and IronPython to seamlessly run the Python code responsible for face recognition.
While this face recognition system effectively gets the job done, it's important to acknowledge that running Python code within a C# application may result in some performance challenges. However, the end result is undoubtedly worth the effort, as this app demonstrates the synergy between two powerful programming languages.
