Natural stains, like those made from vinegar, coffee, or berries, create beautiful, earthy tones on wood and often deepen with age. They’re eco-friendly, non-toxic, and reveal wood’s natural grain without harsh chemicals. Plus, each batch can yield unique, one-of-a-kind finishes!

Extremely impressive mostly because of how conscientious and friendly this method is. It hurts nothing or no one.

Love your natural simple processes and presenentations. Your economy of shorts is just enough to attract me to the longer videos.

Coconut oil can go off, making some stinky furniture! Linseed oil is better :) Also, ebonizing wood is a little harder to strip back as it goes a bit deeper, so be sure you won't want to change it in a few years!

I’ve always loved natural stains as a furniture designer, using tumeric on some brighter woods can be really nice.

Love those stains, always a cool technique. But I’m not sure about the coconut oil- doesn’t it go rancid? There are some linseed oils out there that are either raw or actually boiled (rather than adding additional chemicals to quickly get the BLO finish).

Love this, but I would use a non- perishable oil in the future! Coconut oil can potentially turn rancid on the wood.
